Gaza Herald- At least 34 Palestinians were killed and dozens wounded in brutal Israeli attacks across Gaza at dawn on Tuesday, according to medical sources.
Eleven Palestinian aid seekers were among the reported victims after Israeli forces opened fire at hundreds of hungry people near Wadi Gaza in the central Gaza Strip.
The violence in Gaza continues to intensify, as Israeli forces carry out overnight bombings that have killed many people in the central Nuseirat region. Hospitals in the area have struggled to manage the influx of patients, many of whom are civilians trapped under the rubble of collapsed buildings.
The Israeli army has pursued a brutal offensive on Gaza since October 7, 2023, killing nearly 60,000 Palestinians, most of them women and children. The relentless bombardment has devastated the enclave and caused severe food shortages.
At least 25 people were killed by Israeli forces while seeking aid from a truck convoy passing through the southern Gaza Strip, according to health officials and eyewitnesses.
As the death toll of Gaza genocide nears 60,000, an increasing number of people are dying from malnutrition, with images of starving children shocking the world and fueling international criticism of Israel.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has stated that “there is no starvation in Gaza”.
However, on Monday, he described the situation in Gaza as “difficult,” saying that Israel is working to ensure aid deliveries.
The head of the UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) said his staff on the ground have described people enduring the starvation crisis as “neither dead nor alive – walking corpses”.
Speaking at the UN conference on a two-state solution, Philippe Lazzarini stated that words of “outrage and condemnation are no longer adequate for what is unfolding”.
