Gaza Herald – Israeli occupation forces continued violating the Gaza ceasefire on Tuesday through air strikes, artillery shelling, detonations, and live fire targeting multiple areas across the besieged strip.
Local sources reported that two fishermen from al-Najjar family were wounded after Israeli naval forces opened fire off the coast of Khan Younis in southern Gaza.
Israeli aircraft also bombed the overcrowded al-Mawasi area west of Khan Younis at dawn, an area packed with displaced families living in tents. The attack came hours after Israeli forces reportedly contacted residents, ordering them to evacuate, in a recurring tactic that deepens civilian suffering and displacement.
Another Israeli drone strike targeted al-Tina Street in the al-Mawasi area, while Israeli occupation forces carried out detonations in eastern Khan Younis.
In northern Gaza, Israeli occupation forces fired flares east of Jabalia, while an airstrike hit al-Faluja area west of Jabalia refugee camp.
On Monday, Palestinian medical and local sources confirmed the killing of Mohammed Abdul Salam Abu Shab and the injury of several others after Israeli aircraft targeted a group of civilians near the Bani Suheila roundabout east of Khan Younis.
According to the Palestinian Ministry of Health, the death toll since the ceasefire took effect on 10 October 2025 has risen to 877 Palestinians killed, in addition to 2,602 injuries and 776 bodies recovered from under the rubble.
The overall death toll from Israel’s genocide on Gaza since 7 October 2023 has now reached 72,769 killed and 172,704 wounded, according to official Palestinian figures.
