Gaza Herald – Israeli occupation forces continue to breach the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip through ongoing artillery shelling, gunfire, and the demolition of civilian homes in several areas across the territory.
Local reports indicate that Israeli artillery struck eastern Gaza City. At the same time, heavy gunfire was fired from Israeli helicopters in the eastern areas of Khan Younis in the southern part of the enclave.
In northern Gaza, Israeli occupation forces carried out demolitions of residential homes in the Abu Zeitoun area of Jabalia refugee camp, further worsening destruction in already heavily damaged neighborhoods and deepening the humanitarian impact on residents.
These incidents come amid repeated violations of the ceasefire that came into effect on October 10, 2025, with continued military activity reported across multiple parts of the Gaza Strip despite the agreement.
According to the Gaza Ministry of Health, the total death toll since October 7, 2023, has reached 72,333, with 172,202 civilians injured, while thousands remain trapped under rubble due to ongoing difficulties in rescue and recovery operations.
