Gaza Herald- Four civilians, including three children, were injured on Wednesday morning after Israeli naval forces fired shells and live ammunition toward tents sheltering displaced people in the Al-Mawasi area of Khan Younis.
The Al-Mawasi Field Hospital, operated by the Palestinian Red Crescent Society, reported that its teams treated four injuries following a strike on a tent housing displaced civilians along the coast in southern Gaza.
According to medical assessments, three of the injured are children. Two were listed in moderate condition, while a third child was critically injured. A man was also wounded. All received initial treatment and were transferred for further medical care in line with established protocols.
The previous night, three Palestinians were killed and others injured in an Israeli airstrike targeting a group of civilians north Zawayda town, in central Gaza.
Local sources reported that Israeli aircraft struck civilians near Al-Sawarha cemetery, killing three people, including Ahmad Mohammad Darwish and Nader Al-Nabahen.
Since October 10, Israeli forces have continued to violate the ceasefire through ongoing air and artillery attacks across the Gaza Strip.
According to daily reports on ceasefire violations, at least 687 Palestinians have been killed and more than 1,849 injured since the ceasefire took effect.
This brings the total number of casualties since October 7, 2023, to more than 72,263 killed and 171,948 injured.
