Gaza Herald – At least eight Palestinians were killed and several others injured since Thursday morning after Israeli airstrikes targeted two homes in Deir al-Balah, central Gaza, according to medical sources. Three people were killed in an attack on the Houli family home, while two others were killed in strikes on the Jarrou family residence.
The Israeli military’s continued attacks occurred despite the ceasefire that took effect on October 10, 2025. Local authorities reported systematic violations, including direct fire on civilians, artillery strikes, and demolition of homes, undermining both the ceasefire and international humanitarian law.
Since the ceasefire, government monitors documented 1,244 breaches, 402 incidents of direct fire on civilians, 66 incursions by military vehicles into residential areas, 581 attacks on unarmed citizens and homes, and 195 acts of demolition of civilian structures.
These violations have resulted in 449 fatalities and 1,246 injuries among Palestinians who reached hospitals, alongside 50 unlawful arrests carried out by Israeli forces, highlighting the ongoing dangers faced by civilians in Gaza.
