Israel Targets Fishermen and Opens Fire Off Gaza’s Coast

Gaza Herald – An Israeli attack injured a Palestinian fisherman in al-Mawasi area of Rafah today after occupation forces opened fire directly at him while he was working along the shore. The assault comes as Israel continues to restrict and terrorize Gaza’s fishermen even during the so-called ceasefire.

Moments later, Israeli naval boats fired heavy rounds toward the waters off Khan Younis in southern Gaza, forcing fishermen to flee and halting all activity along the coast as gunfire echoed through the area.

These attacks are part of Israel’s ongoing genocide and its daily violations of the ceasefire, with repeated shootings, drone strikes, and artillery fire targeting civilians across the Strip.
