Gaza Herald – Israeli artillery struck a vehicle carrying displaced civilians in al-Zaytoun neighborhood, east of Gaza City, on Friday.
According to one survivor, at least nine people remain missing following the attack, as rescue crews from Gaza’s Civil Defense struggle to coordinate access to the area due to ongoing Israeli military restrictions.
The attack comes despite the current ceasefire that was meant to halt Israeli military operations in the Gaza Strip.
Reports from multiple humanitarian organizations indicate that Israel continues to violate the truce, targeting civilian areas and obstructing rescue operations, further deepening the humanitarian catastrophe in what human rights groups describe as a genocidal campaign against Gaza’s population.
