Gaza City Stands Unbroken: 900,000 Palestinians Remain at Home

Gaza Herald – Over 900,000 Palestinians remain in Gaza City, refusing to abandon their homes and shelters despite relentless Israeli attacks, according to the Government Media Office (GMO).

Citizens are defying a brutal campaign of bombardment and what the GMO described as genocidal crimes, holding fast to their neighborhoods and the right to survive in the heart of the city.

The GMO slammed Israel’s claims of tents, aid, and humanitarian services in southern Gaza as “fabricated lies” aimed at forcing civilians out of their homes.

Yet, despite constant threats, approximately 335,000 Palestinians were pushed southward under the weight of relentless airstrikes, artillery fire, and violent military operations. Field teams confirmed that over 24,000 of those displaced have already returned to northern areas, fleeing the harsh conditions in the south.
