Gaza Herald – Seven children died this morning at Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Younis, including four fetuses lost in utero and three premature babies who perished in incubators. Doctors confirmed their deaths were the direct result of their mothers’ severe malnutrition, unrelenting fear, constant stress, and exhaustion from repeated displacement and forced eviction under Israel’s ongoing genocide in Gaza.
The tragedy reflects a far wider catastrophe, Gaza has become a death trap for children. Hospitals are collapsing under siege, incubators and life-saving equipment are failing without power, and mothers endure starvation as food and medicine are deliberately denied entry.
According to the United Nations International Children’s Emergency Fund (UNICEF) and international rights groups, children in Gaza are paying the highest price, dying in their mothers’ wombs, starving in shelters, or buried beneath the rubble of their destroyed homes. With nowhere safe to go, Gaza’s youngest are being wiped out in what human rights advocates call a systematic war of extermination.
