Al-Quds Hospital Pleads for Blood as Israeli Evacuation Orders Target Nearby Shelters

Gaza Herald – Al-Quds Hospital in Gaza City has launched an urgent blood donation drive as Israeli forces tighten their assault on the surrounding neighborhoods.

Doctors and staff remain at their posts treating the wounded, even as evacuation orders were issued this morning for four nearby schools sheltering hundreds of displaced civilians.

The Palestinian Red Crescent reports that the hospital’s labs are running emergency campaigns to save lives, appealing to residents to donate blood while relentless Israeli bombardment threatens the area.

Local media confirmed that this morning, Israeli forces ordered the evacuation of blocks adjacent to Al-Quds Hospital, south of Gaza City, even though the schools in the area are functioning as shelters for families who have nowhere else to go.

This dual reality which are: calls for blood to keep the injured alive while Israel issues evacuation threats against the displaced, underscores the scale of devastation. Al-Quds Hospital has become a front line of defiance, where doctors, patients, and families refuse to abandon Gaza despite systematic efforts to uproot them.
