Gaza Herald – A Palestinian man was killed and several others were wounded Sunday in an Israeli drone strike in central Gaza, as Israeli forces continued violating the ceasefire.
Ismail Abu al-Foul, a displaced Palestinian from northern Gaza, was killed when an Israeli drone targeted a group of civilians near the Industrial Solar Station at the entrance to Al-Maghazi along Salah al-Din Road. One of the wounded is in critical condition.
The attack adds to the mounting civilian toll under a ceasefire that has failed to protect Palestinians from continued Israeli attacks. Local sources said Israeli military vehicles also opened fire south of Khan Younis in southern Gaza.
Israeli forces have continued carrying out air and artillery attacks against areas sheltering displaced Palestinians. They have also continued demolitions inside the area known as the “Yellow Line,” while maintaining restrictions on the movement of goods, humanitarian aid, and people.
According to Gaza’s Health Ministry, 1,286 Palestinians have been killed and 4,252 wounded since the ceasefire began on October 10. Another 813 bodies have been recovered during the same period.
Since Israel launched its genocide on Gaza on October 7, 2023, the Palestinian death toll has reached 73,420, with 174,364 people wounded, according to the latest Health Ministry figures.
