Israel Strikes Hamas Leadership in Doha, Killing Family Members

Gaza Herald – A senior Hamas source told Al Jazeera that a high-level Hamas delegation narrowly survived an Israeli airstrike on its meeting location in Doha, Qatar.

The delegation, headed by Dr. Khalil al-Hayya, was reportedly discussing the latest ceasefire proposal from former U.S. President Donald Trump when the targeted site was struck. While the entire leadership delegation escaped unharmed, casualties were reported among al-Hayya’s family members and personal aides.

The strike, confirmed by Israeli sources as a joint operation between the military and Shin Bet, represents a bold escalation, striking at Palestinian leadership during ongoing diplomatic talks.

Israeli Channel 12 reported that Trump had given the green light for the operation, underscoring the high-level coordination and the grave risks posed to both negotiations and civilian-affiliated personnel present.
