Gaza Herald – Palestinians fleeing northern Gaza in recent months are facing worsening conditions in the south, where overcrowded tent camps and skyrocketing prices of basic goods are creating a dire humanitarian situation.
Displaced families describe suffocating congestion, a lack of hygiene, and daily struggles to secure food and clean water. The arrival of more people has made access to essentials even harder, while long lines and inflated prices are pushing families to the brink.
Pregnant women, children, and the elderly are particularly vulnerable, with makeshift shelters offering little privacy or relief. What were once short walks now take hours due to the density of tents, leaving virtually no space for dignity or safety.
The ongoing displacement has intensified Gaza’s collapse, leaving civilians trapped in unbearable conditions with no escape from the crisis.
