Heavy Israeli Strikes Pound Gaza Neighborhoods on Day 695 of War

Gaza Herald – On the 695th day of the war, Israeli forces launched another wave of heavy airstrikes and artillery attacks across Gaza, leaving scores dead and wounded in the north, center, and south of the strip.

In Gaza City, Israeli jets repeatedly bombed tents sheltering displaced families near the al-Maqousi Towers, causing multiple fatalities and critical injuries. Additional strikes hit homes in Sheikh Radwan and the Abu Iskandar area, while artillery fire pounded Jabalia al-Nazla, where an explosive-laden robot was detonated inside residential blocks.

In southern Gaza, air raids struck near the Hamad Towers in Khan Younis, as well as northern parts of the city, while tanks and soldiers opened fire on civilians in Rafah’s al-Shakoush area. In Gaza City’s Tel al-Hawa neighborhood, two people were killed and others were injured when tents sheltering displaced people near the Umm al-Qura School and beside the Interior Ministry building were directly hit.

The army also carried out demolitions in the al-Zaytoun district of Gaza City, adding to the widespread devastation that continues to flatten entire neighborhoods.
