Gaza Herald – Israeli forces continued to violate the ceasefire in the Gaza Strip on Friday, carrying out artillery shelling and opening fire across several areas, Palestinian sources reported.
A Palestinian man, identified as Fadi al-Abadla, was killed by Israeli gunfire in the town of al-Qarara, north of Khan Younis in southern Gaza. Three other Palestinians, including a child, were wounded by Israeli fire near Hamad City, also north of Khan Younis.
Israeli artillery struck eastern areas of Khan Younis, while military vehicles opened heavy fire near the Mills area north of the city. Israeli forces also fired intensively toward the northern areas of Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza.
In Gaza City, an Israeli aircraft carried out a strike near Mashtaha Street in the eastern Shuja’iyya neighborhood, while artillery fire targeted eastern parts of the city.
Israeli military vehicles and drones also opened fire toward Palestinian homes in the Tuffah neighborhood northeast of Gaza City, with Israeli forces firing illumination shells over the eastern part of the area.
Local sources reported heavy tank fire around al-Sanafour in eastern Gaza City, alongside gunfire from an Israeli Apache helicopter toward the city’s eastern areas. Israeli quadcopter drones also fired in the Zeitoun neighborhood southeast of Gaza City and east of Sheikh Radwan in the north.
The latest attacks come despite the ceasefire that began on October 10, 2025. According to Gaza health authorities, Israeli attacks have killed 1,338 Palestinians and wounded 4,429 since the ceasefire took effect, while the bodies of 815 Palestinians have been recovered.
Since Israel launched its war on Gaza on October 7, 2023, the cumulative Palestinian death toll has reached 73,474, with 174,540 people wounded, according to Palestinian health authorities.
For Palestinians in Gaza, the continuing attacks underscore how fragile the ceasefire remains, as Israeli gunfire, artillery and air operations continue to threaten civilians across the devastated territory.
