Gaza Herald– A Palestinian succumbed to wounds on Saturday sustained in a previous Israeli strike on the Gaza Strip, as Israeli occupation forces continued to violate the ceasefire agreement across the enclave.
A local source said Suhail Ramadan Haji died from injuries he suffered in an earlier Israeli strike that targeted the Al-Zeitoun neighborhood, east of Gaza City.
Meanwhile, Israeli occupation forces fired illumination flares over the Al-Zeitoun neighborhood while carrying out artillery shelling and heavy tank fire east of the area.
Israeli occupation forces also opened heavy fire east of the town of Al-Qarara, northeast of Khan Younis.
Israeli artillery shelled the eastern and southern areas of Khan Younis.
In addition, Israeli military bulldozers advanced into the Abu Al-Ajeen area, southeast of Deir al-Balah, where they carried out land-leveling operations.
Israeli occupation forces continue to violate the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip through air and artillery strikes targeting areas sheltering displaced Palestinians, as well as demolition and destruction operations inside the area known as the Yellow Line, while maintaining restrictions on the movement of goods, humanitarian aid, and travel.
According to figures released by the Palestinian Ministry of Health, the number of Palestinians killed since the ceasefire took effect on October 10, 2025 has risen to 1,185, with 3,816 others injured. The ministry also reported the recovery of 883 bodies from beneath the rubble.
The overall death toll since the start of the Israeli genocide on October 7, 2023, has reached 73,311 Palestinians killed, with 173,924 others injured, underscoring the heavy human toll of Israel’s ongoing assault on the Gaza Strip.
