Gaza Herald – Two Palestinians were killed on Thursday as Israeli occupation forces intensified renewed violations of the ceasefire across the besieged Gaza Strip, according to local and medical sources.
A resident was shot dead by Israeli gunfire in the northern town of Beit Lahia, while another, identified as Abdul Rahman Ziyada, succumbed to his wounds sustained days earlier in an Israeli strike targeting a tent sheltering displaced civilians inside Ibn Sina School, west of Gaza City.
Local sources reported continued Israeli naval fire off the coast of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip early Thursday, alongside sustained artillery shelling and live fire targeting eastern areas of the city.
Israeli occupation vehicles also opened fire and launched shells toward eastern Khan Younis, while heavy gunfire and bombardment were reported in the same area. Additional fire was directed toward the eastern parts of the Zeitoun neighborhood in southeast Gaza City.
Despite the declared ceasefire, Israeli forces continue to carry out repeated violations through shelling, gunfire, and limited incursions across multiple areas of southern and eastern Gaza, further deepening the already severe humanitarian crisis in the territory.
According to the Palestinian Ministry of Health, ongoing attacks since the ceasefire have continued to add to the death toll, while hundreds of victims remain under rubble or in areas inaccessible to emergency teams due to security constraints and destroyed infrastructure.
