Gaza Death Toll Since Ceasefire Reaches 986, Health Ministry Says

Gaza Herald – Gaza’s Health Ministry reported on Sunday that three Palestinians were killed and 16 others injured during the past 24 hours as Israeli attacks continued across the territory.

In a statement, the ministry said that a number of victims remain trapped beneath rubble and in areas inaccessible to rescue teams, as ambulance and civil defense crews have been unable to reach several strike locations. Officials warned that the actual death toll could rise as recovery efforts continue.

According to the ministry, the number of Palestinians killed since the ceasefire was announced on October 10, 2025, has reached 986, while 3,138 Palestinians have been injured. Rescue teams have also recovered 783 bodies from beneath destroyed buildings during the same period.

The ministry added that since the beginning of the genocide on October 7, 2023, the cumulative death toll in Gaza has risen to 72,996, with 173,246 Palestinians injured, reflecting the continuing human cost of the Israeli war and its impact on the civilian Palestinians.
