Three Palestinians Killed by Israeli Fire in Khan Younis, Including Child

Gaza Herald – Three Palestinians, including a child, were killed by Israeli occupation forces on Sunday as ceasefire violations continued across various areas of the Gaza Strip.

Local sources reported that Mohammad Ramzi Abu Hasira (39) succumbed to his wounds sustained after being shot in the abdomen by Israeli occupation forces at Al-Saraya Junction the previous day.

In a separate incident, Zaki Mohammad Al-Qarra (30) was killed on Sunday morning after being shot by Israeli occupation forces near the Bani Suheila roundabout east of Khan Younis.

Medical sources also confirmed the death of Amir Imad Al-Basheeti (13) shortly before midnight after Israeli occupation forces shot him in Al-Batn Al-Sameen area south of Khan Younis. His death brought the number of Palestinians killed by Israeli fire on Saturday alone to four across different parts of the Gaza Strip.

Meanwhile, Israeli occupation forces opened fire in the town of Beit Lahia in northwestern Gaza, while Israeli naval vessels fired shells into the waters off Gaza City.

Israeli occupation forces continue to violate the ceasefire agreement in Gaza through airstrikes, artillery shelling, and attacks targeting displaced civilians, alongside demolition operations within what is known as the “yellow zone.” Restrictions on the movement of goods, humanitarian aid, and travel also remain in place.

According to data released by Gaza’s Ministry of Health, the number of Palestinians killed since the ceasefire took effect on October 10, 2025, has risen to 988, with 3,122 injuries recorded. Rescue teams have also recovered 783 bodies during the same period.

The ministry added that the overall death toll since the start of the Israeli war on October 7, 2023, has reached 72,998 fatalities, with 173,230 Palestinians injured, highlighting the continuing human cost of the genocide in Gaza.
