Gaza Herald- Three Palestinians were killed and others, including women and children, were injured early Tuesday as Israeli airstrikes, artillery fire, and gunfire hit several areas across the Gaza Strip, in fresh violations of the ceasefire agreement.
Since dawn, Israeli occupation forces carried out at least five violations of the truce, including airstrikes, artillery shelling, gunfire from tanks and military vehicles, and large-scale demolitions and bombings of homes and civilian facilities.
A medical source at Al-Shifa Hospital said two Palestinians were killed and others, including children, were injured when an Israeli airstrike hit a populated residential apartment in the Al-Nasr neighborhood, west of Gaza City.
Palestinian sources said Israeli warplanes launched three airstrikes on the Al-Nasr Street area in the early hours of Tuesday, including a strike on an apartment near the Al-Lababidi junction in western Gaza City.
In central Gaza, Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital reported that another Palestinian was killed by Israeli gunfire east of Deir al-Balah.
Israeli forces also carried out a large-scale demolition operation east of Deir al-Balah at dawn, while artillery fire pounded eastern areas of the city.
The attacks extended to northern Gaza, where Israeli artillery shelled northern areas of Beit Lahia as Israeli forces fired illumination flares over the Al-Jawani area.
The latest attacks come amid continued Israeli violations of the ceasefire agreement reached on October 10, 2025, despite subsequent understandings in July 2026 concerning the implementation of the second phase of the fragile truce.
US President Donald Trump announced on July 31, 2026, a “new agreement” to launch the second phase of the roadmap for Gaza, but Israeli airstrikes, shelling, gunfire, and demolitions have continued across the Strip.
On Monday alone, two Palestinians were killed and others injured in 18 reported Israeli violations of the ceasefire, including airstrikes, artillery shelling, and gunfire.
The continuing attacks have deepened concerns over the durability of the ceasefire as Palestinians in Gaza remain exposed to Israeli military operations despite the agreement intended to halt the fighting.
