Gaza Herald – Hamas’s Al-Safa news agency reported that nine citizens were killed and others injured due to Israeli airstrikes across various areas of the Gaza Strip since Thursday morning. According to the agency, the latest developments indicate that three citizens were killed and five others injured after an Israeli drone strike near the Quba area in Mawasi, Khan Younis.
The correspondent identified one of the victims as 33-year-old Moumen Jaber Abu Labda. He also noted that other individuals sustained injuries, some in critical condition, following the targeting of a vehicle by an Israeli drone in Hamad city, located northwest of Khan Younis.
Earlier on Thursday evening, Mohsen Fareed Saeed Abu Hadaf died from wounds sustained during an Israeli bombardment earlier that day on Al-Tina Street in Mawasi, Al-Qarara town, north of Khan Younis. In a separate incident, bodies of four family members were recovered from the rubble of a home destroyed by occupation aircraft the previous night in Beit Lahiya project, northern Gaza.
The deceased were identified as father Moumen Abdul Rahman Ahmed, mother Haneen Musa Fares Saleh, and daughters Lana and Bana Moumen Ahmed. The correspondent further stated that injuries occurred when occupation aircraft targeted a previously damaged house in Khan Younis camp.
Additionally, a child was shot by occupation forces in Mawasi, Khan Younis. Military vehicles fired heavily east of Hamad city, while naval vessels opened fire toward the sea off Khan Younis. Several civilians were injured when occupation forces and drones fired intensively at displacement centers and tents in Jabalia camp.
Troops also fired heavily in the north, coinciding with artillery shelling east of Jabalia camp. Israeli helicopter gunships fired in the northeast sector. Fire resumed from helicopters in the same area, while artillery continued shelling eastern parts of Jabalia.
In the Khalifa Square area of Jabalia, helicopter fire coincided with artillery shelling and intense gunfire amid low-flying aircraft. In Gaza City, artillery and tank fire targeted eastern districts. Meanwhile, in the central sector, occupation forces dropped illumination bombs east of Al-Bureij camp.
