Gaza Herald- Israeli occupation forces continued violating the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip for the 296th consecutive day, carrying out renewed airstrikes and gunfire across multiple areas of the enclave amid the ongoing devastation and humanitarian crisis caused by the war.
On Saturday afternoon, medical and rescue teams recovered the body of a Palestinian killed in an Israeli drone strike north of Asdaa City in the Al-Mawasi area of Al-Qarara, north of Khan Younis. Several civilians were also injured in the attack.
Earlier in the day, two Palestinians were killed, including a displaced resident from Beit Lahia, while several others, including critically wounded civilians, were injured in an Israeli strike near the Al-Ghazali Junction in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood, northwest of Gaza City.
Local sources identified the two victims as Hassan Ibrahim Qahman and Alaa Imad Al-Taramsi, who were killed when Israeli aircraft targeted a group of Palestinians in Sheikh Radwan.
Meanwhile, Mahmoud Mohammad Ftayyer succumbed to wounds sustained in an earlier Israeli strike on the central Gaza city of Deir al-Balah.
Several civilians were also injured after Israeli forces bombed a home belonging to the Abu Amra family on Al-Baraka Street in Deir al-Balah. Another strike targeted agricultural land west of Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital, causing extensive damage to a storage structure and a camp sheltering displaced families.
An Israeli airstrike also targeted a house near the UNRWA clinic in Al-Maghazi refugee camp in central Gaza.
Additional civilians were injured after Israeli warplanes struck a home in the Al-Saftawi area, north of Gaza City. Elsewhere, one Palestinian was critically wounded when an Israeli drone targeted an electric bicycle near Al-Istijaba Mosque in the Sabra neighborhood, south of the city.
Israeli artillery shelled eastern Gaza City while tanks opened heavy fire on the area. Israeli warplanes also continued flying over the Gaza Strip.
The eastern outskirts of Al-Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza came under artillery shelling and gunfire from Israeli military vehicles.
In southern Gaza, one Palestinian was injured by Israeli army gunfire in the Al-Mawasi area of Rafah, while Israeli naval vessels opened fire off the city’s coast as artillery shelled the area between Khan Younis and Rafah.
According to Gaza’s Health Ministry, 1,214 Palestinians have been killed and 3,977 injured since the ceasefire took effect on Oct. 11, 2025, in addition to the recovery of 804 bodies.
The ministry added that the overall death toll from the Israeli genocidal war on the Gaza Strip since Oct. 7, 2023, has risen to 73,341 Palestinians killed and 174,086 injured.
