Gaza Herald– Israeli forces continued violating the Gaza ceasefire agreement for the 287th consecutive day, intensifying airstrikes, artillery shelling, live fire, and detonations across the Strip while expanding the so-called “Yellow Line”, further deepening the humanitarian crisis.
Mohammad Abu Shakyan succumbed to wounds sustained in an Israeli strike that targeted Al-Faluja area, west of Jabalia refugee camp in northern Gaza, on Wednesday morning.
On Thursday, Israeli artillery shelled eastern Gaza City as military vehicles opened fire east of the Al-Zeitoun neighborhood and carried out detonations in the city’s eastern areas.
Israeli forces also continued shelling southeastern Al-Zeitoun and the vicinity of Al-Sanafour Junction in the Al-Tuffah neighborhood, while Israeli naval vessels fired toward Gaza City’s coastline.
In central Gaza, artillery targeted eastern areas of Deir al-Balah, while in southern Gaza Israeli military vehicles opened sustained fire east of Khan Younis. Bullets fired by Israeli forces also struck displacement tents in Al-Kanees area southwest of the city.
On Wednesday, local sources confirmed the deaths of Abdullah Hassan, who succumbed to injuries sustained in an earlier Israeli strike on Al-Ghafri Junction, Saeb Ahmad Abu Mualla, killed in the Al-Nuwairi Hill area northwest of Nuseirat, and Mufeed Abdul Hamid Abu Al-Einen, who was shot by Israeli forces in the Bir 19 area of Al-Mawasi, west of Khan Younis.
According to Gaza’s Ministry of Health, 1,180 Palestinians have been killed and 3,810 injured since the ceasefire took effect on October 10, 2025, in addition to 802 bodies recovered from beneath the rubble.
The ministry added that the overall toll since October 7, 2023, has risen to 73,305 Palestinians killed and 173,918 injured.
