Six Killed in Israeli Strike on Police Post in Northern Gaza, Including Woman

Gaza Herald – Six Palestinians, including a woman, were killed on Monday after an Israeli strike targeted a police post in Al-Khan Market area of Al-Faluja, north of the Gaza Strip, according to local medical sources.

The strike hit a police point in the busy market, causing multiple casualties and injuries. Medical teams transported the victims to nearby hospitals, while emergency crews continued efforts to assist the wounded.

The incident comes amid continued Israeli attacks across the Gaza Strip despite the ceasefire agreement. Residents reported ongoing shelling, airstrikes, and gunfire in several areas, particularly in northern and eastern Gaza, alongside repeated detonations of displaced Palestinians’ buildings.

According to Gaza’s Ministry of Health, the death toll since the ceasefire took effect has continued to rise, with hundreds of Palestinians killed and thousands more injured in incidents linked to ongoing Israeli attacks. Humanitarian agencies have repeatedly warned that the persistent violence is further worsening the already dire humanitarian situation in the enclave.

The latest strike adds to growing concerns over civilian safety and the continued erosion of the ceasefire, as calls intensify for renewed international efforts to ensure protection for civilians and prevent further escalation.
