Five Palestinians Killed as Israeli Ceasefire Violations Continue in Gaza

Gaza Herald – Five Palestinians were killed and several others injured on Monday as Israeli occupation forces continued violating the ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, with airstrikes targeting a vehicle in Khan Younis and a residential apartment in Gaza City, while another man succumbed to previous injuries.

According to local sources, two Palestinians were killed and 15 others were injured after an Israeli airstrike struck a vehicle on Al-Rashid Street in the densely populated Al-Mawasi area of Khan Younis, where thousands of displaced civilians are sheltering.

Israeli aircraft also targeted another vehicle near the Palestinian Mills north of Khan Younis. No casualties were reported in that strike.

In Gaza City, Mohammed Falah Daghmash and his wife were killed after an Israeli airstrike hit a residential apartment near the Jordanian Hospital in the Tal Al-Hawa neighborhood. Several other Palestinians were reported injured.

Meanwhile, Nasser Al-Awwada succumbed to his wounds sustained earlier after being struck by shrapnel from an Israeli artillery shell east of Al-Masdar village in central Gaza.

Israeli artillery continued shelling eastern areas of Khan Younis, while Israeli occupation vehicles opened heavy fire toward the city’s southern and eastern neighborhoods. Gaza’s Civil Defense also reported rescuing four members of the Abed family after a partial collapse inside Al-Nile Tower in Gaza City.

According to the Palestinian Ministry of Health, the number of Palestinians killed since the ceasefire took effect on October 10, 2025, has risen to 1,072, with 3,445 injuries and 797 bodies recovered. Since the start of the genocide on October 7, 2023, the overall death toll has reached 73,096, while 173,553 Palestinians have been injured.
