Israeli Attacks Kill Seven Palestinians in Gaza as Ceasefire Violations Ongoing

Gaza Herald – At least 16 Palestinian victims were brought to hospitals across the Gaza Strip over the past 48 hours, including seven killed in recent Israeli attacks and nine bodies recovered from beneath the rubble, according to Gaza’s Ministry of Health.

The ministry said 16 others were injured during the same period, adding that additional victims are believed to remain trapped under collapsed buildings as ambulance and civil defense teams continue to face difficulties reaching affected areas.

According to the ministry, Israeli ceasefire violations have killed 1,066 Palestinians and injured 3,445 others since the U.S.-brokered ceasefire took effect in October 2025. Although large-scale fighting has largely subsided, Israeli attacks have continued across the enclave.

The latest figures bring the overall death toll from the Israeli genocide in Gaza since October 2023 to 73,090, with 173,550 Palestinians injured, the ministry said.

Meanwhile, Israeli occupation forces have continued expanding the areas under their control inside Gaza while issuing additional displacement orders. Negotiations over the second phase of the ceasefire agreement remain stalled, with disagreements over the extent of an Israeli military withdrawal continuing to delay progress.
