Gaza Herald – The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced on Sunday that nine Palestinians were killed and 41 others injured in the Gaza Strip over the past 24 hours as a result of ongoing Israeli attacks across the besieged enclave.
According to the ministry’s daily report, the death toll recorded since the ceasefire came into effect on October 10 has risen to 1,021 Palestinians killed, while the number of wounded has reached 3,249. An additional 784 bodies have been recovered from areas previously inaccessible to rescue teams.
The ministry stated that the cumulative toll since the beginning of Israeli genocide on October 7, 2023, has climbed to 73,032 Palestinians killed and 173,357 injured, underscoring the devastating human cost of the war on Gaza.
Health officials also warned that numerous victims remain trapped beneath the rubble of destroyed buildings or lying in areas unreachable by emergency crews, as ongoing attacks and widespread destruction continue to obstruct rescue and recovery operations.
Medical authorities reiterated that the collapse of infrastructure, severe shortages of equipment and fuel, and repeated targeting of civilian areas have further strained Gaza’s already devastated healthcare system, leaving thousands without adequate medical care.
