Gaza Herald – Israeli occupation forces continued their violations of the ceasefire agreement on Thursday, carrying out live-fire attacks and large-scale demolition operations in multiple areas of the Gaza Strip.
According to local sources, Israeli military vehicles opened fire east of Khan Younis in southern Gaza, while Israeli occupation forces carried out a massive demolition operation in the same area, sending plumes of smoke into the sky and further devastating already damaged neighborhoods.
In central Gaza, Israeli naval vessels fired toward the shoreline of Al-Zawaida, raising concerns among residents and fishermen amid ongoing restrictions and insecurity along the coast.
The latest incidents come as Israeli occupation forces continue military activities across Gaza, including airstrikes, artillery shelling, demolition operations, and attacks near displacement areas despite the ceasefire agreement that took effect in October 2025.
According to Gaza’s Ministry of Health, the number of Palestinians killed since the ceasefire began has risen to 1,007, with 3,157 others injured. Rescue teams have also recovered 784 bodies from beneath the rubble during the same period.
The overall death toll since the start of Israel’s military offensive on Gaza in October 2023 has climbed to 73,018 Palestinians, while the number of injured has reached 173,265, highlighting the continuing human cost of the war and its aftermath.
