Israeli Forces Demolish Homes East of Gaza City, Open Heavy Fire in Khan Younis

Gaza Herald- Israeli forces continued ceasefire violations across the Gaza Strip on Saturday, carrying out demolitions, shelling, and heavy gunfire in several areas despite the ceasefire agreement.

According to local reports, Israeli forces conducted large-scale demolitions of homes and residential buildings in eastern Gaza City, triggering powerful explosions that were heard across different parts of the city.

In southern Gaza, Israeli military vehicles opened sustained fire in Khan Younis while artillery shelling targeted areas east of the city.

Local sources also reported intensive low-altitude flights by Israeli drones over Khan Younis, contributing to heightened tensions across the area.

Israeli forces further fired heavily toward the northeastern outskirts of Khan Younis as military activity continued along the contact lines.

According to Palestinian sources, repeated violations of the ceasefire agreement have resulted in the deaths of more than 981 Palestinians and injuries to hundreds more since the truce took effect.
