Amnesty calls for an end to trade, cooperation with Israeli occupation

Gaza Herald – Amnesty International has stated that countries around the world must halt all forms of trade and cooperation that contribute to entrenching Israel’s occupation and apartheid system.

In a statement issued on Wednesday, the organization warned against the continued international complicity or passive responses to ongoing Israeli violations in the occupied West Bank.

It added that the Israeli government is implementing a national-religious agenda in the West Bank, stressing that the international community has not taken sufficient steps to stop ongoing abuses against Palestinians.

The organization reported that Israel has fully or partially displaced 117 Palestinian Bedouin and pastoral communities between 2023 and 2026.

It further stated that sanctions imposed by some countries on certain settlers or affiliated organisations are not enough to address the campaign of ethnic cleansing targeting Palestinians in the West Bank.
