Gaza Herald – A young Palestinian woman was killed and 16 civilians were injured early Friday as a result of a series of new Israeli violations of the ceasefire and truce agreement in the Gaza Strip.
A medical source at Nasser Medical Complex reported that one fatality and 16 wounded civilians were brought to the hospital following an Israeli helicopter strike targeting tents sheltering displaced Palestinians west of Khan Younis in southern Gaza.
The source identified the victim as Bushra Hani Hassan Al-Barahma (18), who was killed in the attack on the displacement camp.
In central Gaza, Israeli artillery shelled the northeastern areas of the Bureij refugee camp while illumination flares were fired over the area.
Israeli military vehicles also opened fire toward eastern Gaza City, while an Israeli vehicle advanced near Al-Sahaba Mosque in Al-Mawasi area of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip.
The report noted that on Thursday, 12 Palestinians were killed and around 25 others were injured in 17 Israeli violations of the ceasefire agreement in Gaza.
Israeli occupation forces have continued violations of the ceasefire agreement signed on October 10, 2025, through Arab and U.S. mediation in Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt, marking the 239th consecutive day of such incidents.
According to figures released by Gaza’s Ministry of Health, the death toll since the ceasefire took effect on October 11, 2025, has risen to 947 fatalities and 2,935 injuries.
The ministry added that the cumulative toll since October 7, 2023, has reached 72,956 killed and 173,043 injuries.
