Gaza Herald- Israeli occupation forces continued violating the Gaza ceasefire agreement on Saturday for the 226th consecutive day through airstrikes, artillery shelling, and gunfire targeting various areas across the Gaza Strip.
According to local sources, Israeli drones targeted a young man riding a motorcycle in the Al-Mawasi area of Khan Younis, wounding him.
Another local source reported that two Palestinians were injured by Israeli gunfire east of Al-Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza on Saturday morning.
Earlier, local reports said several civilians were wounded by shrapnel from an Israeli drone bomb in the Halawa camp area in northern Gaza.
Israeli artillery also shelled areas northeast of Beit Lahia in northern Gaza, as well as eastern parts of the Al-Zeitoun neighborhood southeast of Gaza City.
Israeli warplanes launched an airstrike targeting eastern Al-Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza.
Israeli forces continue to violate the ceasefire agreement through daily air and artillery attacks targeting displaced civilians, alongside demolition operations inside what is known as the “Yellow Line,” while maintaining restrictions on the movement of goods, humanitarian aid, and travel.
According to the Palestinian Ministry of Health, the number of Palestinians killed since the ceasefire took effect on October 10 has risen to 890, in addition to 2,677 injuries and 777 bodies recovered from under the rubble.
The overall death toll from Israel’s war on Gaza since October 7, 2023 has reached approximately 72,783 Palestinians killed and 172,779 injured, reflecting the massive human cost of the ongoing war on the Strip.
