Gaza Herald – Israeli occupation forces continued deadly attacks across the Gaza Strip on Sunday, killing at least four Palestinians over the last 24 hours and wounding several others amid ongoing violations of the fragile ceasefire agreement that has repeatedly been breached since October 2025.
Medical sources confirmed the killing of Abdullah Ahmad Abu Mustafa following an Israeli airstrike targeting the Garage Rafah area in Khan Younis, southern Gaza. Several civilians were also reported injured in the attack.
Local sources said Israeli artillery shelling struck eastern and southern areas of Khan Younis throughout Sunday morning, while military vehicles opened heavy fire toward residential neighborhoods. Additional artillery attacks targeted the eastern areas of Al-Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza.
Non-stop crimes
The latest escalation comes only one day after three Palestinians were killed on Saturday in separate Israeli attacks across Gaza, including strikes on civilian areas in Gaza City and Jabalia refugee camp.
According to medical officials at Al-Shifa Hospital, Abdul Karim Nassar and Bahaa Barouz were killed when an Israeli drone targeted a civilian vehicle in the Al-Nasr neighborhood west of Gaza City. Another Palestinian, Mahmoud Abu Sisi, was killed near Abu Hussein School in Jabalia refugee camp following Israeli shelling that also wounded several civilians.
Hospitals across Gaza received at least 11 bodies and more than 60 wounded civilians from Israeli strikes targeting Gaza City and northern areas of the Strip since Friday evening, according to health sources.
Israeli helicopters and artillery also intensified attacks on eastern Al-Bureij, Rafah, and eastern Khan Younis, while naval forces opened fire toward Gaza’s coastline amid continued demolitions of residential buildings and civilian infrastructure.
The ongoing attacks form part of systematic Israeli violations of the ceasefire agreement reached in October 2025.
Violations have included airstrikes, artillery bombardment, shootings near displacement camps and shelters, destruction of homes, and continued restrictions on humanitarian aid, goods, and civilian movement.
According to the Palestinian Ministry of Health, the number of Palestinians killed since the ceasefire came into effect on October 10, 2025, has risen to 873, with at least 2,543 wounded and hundreds more recovered from beneath the rubble.
The ministry added that the overall death toll since the beginning of the genocide on October 7, 2023, has climbed to 72,760 Palestinians, alongside more than 172,645 injuries, underscoring the catastrophic human cost of the ongoing genocide in Gaza.
