Gaza Herald- Yousef Ajjiseh, head of the International Committee to Break Gaza Siege, revealed that activists aboard the “Sumud Flotilla” were subjected to serious Israeli abuses, including assault, harassment, and physical violence.
Yousef said that some Sumud Flotilla activists had suffered abuse, describing the alleged violations as evidence of Israel’s brutality and criminal conduct.
He warned that the limited European reaction to the reported violations reflects a lack of serious condemnation or meaningful action against Israel.
Yousef urged relevant international parties to ensure protection for vessels heading to Gaza, including those already at sea and others expected to join later, to prevent the ongoing Israeli interception operations in international waters and the territorial waters of some European states.
