Gaza Herald- Israeli escalation in the Gaza Strip continues, with ongoing violations of the ceasefire agreement resulting in one victim and several injuries across different areas of the territory.
Al-Awda Hospital reported receiving one body and three injured individuals after a strike targeted a group of civilians near Abu Hajir station, north of the entrance to the Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza.
Meanwhile, artillery shelling and gunfire from Israeli military vehicles continued in the eastern areas of Gaza City and Khan Younis, alongside heavy aerial surveillance.
For its part, Gaza’s Ministry of Health announced that the death toll since October 7, 2023, has risen to 72,551, with 172,274 reported injuries. The ministry noted that thousands of victims remain under the rubble and in the streets, as rescue teams struggle to reach them.
These developments come amid continued violations of the ceasefire, further worsening the humanitarian situation and threatening the collapse of the truce.
