Gaza Herald – An Israeli airstrike in western Gaza City has killed Palestinian journalist Mohammed Washah, a correspondent for Al Jazeera Mubasher, along with another civilian. The strike targeted Washah’s vehicle near Al-Nabulsi Roundabout in the Sheikh Ajleen area.
Local sources confirmed the attack struck the vehicle directly, resulting in immediate deaths. Washah’s killing adds to the growing number of journalists targeted during ongoing Israeli operations in Gaza, raising serious concerns about press safety.
Israeli occupation forces have also continued shelling and gunfire across Gaza. Two civilians were wounded in central Khan Younis and another in the south of Gaza City amid intensified military activity.
The attacks come despite the October ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hamas, with repeated violations killing hundreds and injuring thousands, further destabilizing the fragile truce.
