Israeli Gunfire, Artillery Shelling Target Eastern Gaza

Gaza Herald – Israeli occupation forces continued their violations of the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip for the 179th consecutive day on Wednesday, carrying out artillery shelling and opening fire in multiple areas across the Strip.

Israeli military vehicles fired intensively this morning in the eastern parts of Gaza City and east of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip. Artillery shelling also targeted eastern Khan Younis.

Since October 10, Israeli occupation forces have continued to breach the ceasefire agreement through ongoing artillery and aerial attacks, as well as gunfire from military vehicles and naval forces, alongside the demolition and destruction of buildings and infrastructure across the enclave.

These violations have resulted in the killing of 730 Palestinians and the injury of 1,990 others, while the bodies of 759 victims have been recovered.

According to the Palestinian Ministry of Health, the overall toll since the beginning of the genocide on October 7, 2023, has risen to 72,309 Palestinians killed and 172,090 injured.
