Gaza Herald- Several civilians were injured on Saturday after Israeli occupation forces opened fire, as violations of the ceasefire continue for the 175th consecutive day.
According to a local correspondent, at least two people were wounded when Israeli naval vessels fired towards tents sheltering displaced people in Al-Mawasi, west of Khan Younis. The injured were transferred to Kuwait Field Hospital for treatment.
Israeli warships also opened fire towards the coast of Rafah, in the southern Gaza Strip.
Meanwhile, Israeli tanks fired heavily east of Khan Younis, while Jabalia refugee camp in northern Gaza was shelled at dawn.
Artillery bombardment targeted eastern areas of Gaza City, accompanied by intermittent gunfire from Israeli military vehicles.
Israeli forces also opened intense fire northeast of Al-Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza.
Since 10 October, Israeli forces have continued to violate the ceasefire agreement through artillery and air strikes, gunfire from military vehicles and naval forces, as well as demolitions and explosions targeting civilian infrastructure across the Strip.
These violations have resulted in the killing of 714 Palestinians and the injury of 1,940 others, while the bodies of 756 victims have been recovered.
Cumulatively, since the start of the offensive on 7 October 2023, the death toll has risen to 72,289, with a total of 172,040 injuries, according to the Ministry of Health.
