Israeli Ceasefire Violations Continue for 173 Days as Strikes Kill More Civilians

Gaza Herald – Israeli occupation forces continued breaching the Gaza ceasefire for the 173rd consecutive day, carrying out sustained artillery shelling, airstrikes, and live fire from military vehicles and naval forces, alongside demolitions of civilian buildings and infrastructure across the Strip. The ongoing escalation further eroded the already fragile ceasefire conditions.

A Palestinian was killed, and others were wounded early Tuesday after an Israeli military drone strike targeted the Telecommunications Junction in Al-Faluja area, west of Jabalia refugee camp in northern Gaza.

Heavy gunfire was also reported in the northeastern areas of Al-Bureij camp in central Gaza. Meanwhile, Israeli military vehicles opened fire south of Khan Younis, as naval forces launched intense fire off the city’s coast.

Israel also maintained a suffocating blockade on more than two million people in Gaza, keeping crossings closed, tightening military restrictions, and blocking the entry of medical and humanitarian aid.

Since the ceasefire took effect on October 11, 2025, at least 704 Palestinians have been killed and 1,914 injured in reported violations, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health.

The overall death toll since October 7, 2023, has risen to 72,280, with 172,014 wounded.
