Child Killed as Wall Collapses Near Municipal Park in Gaza City

Gaza Herald – A Palestinian 14-year-old child was killed on Wednesday evening after a wall collapsed on him in Gaza City.

According to local reporters, the victim, 14-year-old Adham Al-Attar, a displaced child, died when a wall near the Municipal Park fell due to strong winds.

In recent days, several displaced people have been killed in similar incidents as walls and homes weakened by previous destruction and Israeli airstrikes during the ongoing war in Gaza have collapsed.

The daily report on casualties from Israeli attacks in the Gaza Strip, updated on Wednesday, indicated that four people were killed and 14 others injured across the territory. Among the recent fatalities are three new victims and one civilian who succumbed to earlier injuries.

Some victims remain trapped under rubble or stranded in the streets, while rescue teams and civil defense crews struggle to reach them.

Since the ceasefire on 11 October 2025, the total number of killed has reached 677, with 1,813 injuries and 756 recoveries. Cumulatively, since the beginning of the Israeli genocide on 7 October 2023, 72,253 Palestinians have been killed and 171,912 injured.
