Gaza Herald- The Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced on Saturday, March 14, that the death toll from the Israeli war of genocide on the territory since October 7, 2023, has risen to 72,234 people killed and 171,852 injured.
In a press statement, the ministry said that seven bodies and 13 wounded people were brought to hospitals over the past 24 hours. It added that since the ceasefire on October 11, the total number of those killed has reached 658, with 1,754 injured, while 756 bodies have been recovered from under the rubble.
The ministry also noted that 91 additional deaths were added to the cumulative toll after their data was verified and approved by the Martyrs Verification Committee since the beginning of March, reflecting the continuing scale of the tragedy.
The Health Ministry emphasized that many victims remain trapped under the rubble or lying in the streets as ambulance and civil defense crews face major difficulties reaching them, worsening civilian suffering and underscoring the scale of the humanitarian catastrophe facing the Gaza Strip.
