Israel Releases Two Gaza Detainees After Months of Torture

Gaza Herald – Israeli authorities released two detainees from the Gaza Strip on Wednesday, with the transfer facilitated by the International Committee of the Red Cross.

The two were transported from the Kerem Abu Salem crossing to Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in central Gaza for medical care.

In a brief statement, the Red Cross confirmed that it facilitated their transfer and helped reconnect them with their families after their release.

Israel continues to hold thousands of Gaza civilians in detention camps without trial, according to Palestinian sources and rights groups, raising ongoing concerns about due process and the conditions faced by detainees.
