Israel Intensifies Ceasefire Violations With Airstrikes and Live Fire Across Gaza

Gaza Herald – Israeli forces carried out renewed airstrikes and opened fire across multiple areas of the Gaza Strip on Sunday morning, escalating ongoing ceasefire violations.

Israeli warplanes launched an air raid east of Gaza City while flying at low altitude over residential neighborhoods. Israeli forces simultaneously fired toward northern Gaza and east of al-Bureij refugee camp in the central Strip.

Israeli military vehicles also opened heavy fire east of Khan Younis in southern Gaza, as well as toward the Zeitoun and Shuja’iyya neighborhoods east of Gaza City.

The previous evening, artillery shelling was reported east of Khan Younis and in Rafah, further underscoring the persistence of cross-border bombardment despite the standing truce.

The attacks form part of what Palestinian authorities describe as continued breaches of the October 10 ceasefire agreement between Hamas and Israel.

According to Gaza’s Health Ministry, 612 Palestinians have been killed, 1,640 injured, and 726 bodies recovered since the truce came into effect, reflecting sustained hostilities amid a fragile and repeatedly violated cessation framework.
