Two Killed, 11 Wounded in 24 Hours as Gaza Death Toll Continues to Rise

Gaza Herald – Gaza’s Health Ministry announced Monday that two Palestinians were killed and 11 others wounded over the past 24 hours, with casualties transferred to hospitals across the Strip.

According to the ministry, the total death toll since October 7, 2023, has risen to 72,063, with 171,726 people injured. Officials added that several victims remain trapped beneath rubble or in areas inaccessible to ambulance and civil defense teams.

Since the ceasefire took effect on October 11, the ministry reported 603 fatalities attributed to Israeli violations, alongside 1,618 injuries. During the same period, 726 bodies of previously missing individuals were recovered from under the debris.

Palestinian authorities state that the war has resulted in more than 243,000 people killed or wounded, the majority women and children, in addition to over 11,000 missing persons.
