10 Palestinians Killed in Fresh Israeli Airstrikes and Artillery Barrage Across Gaza

Gaza Herald – Ten Palestinians were killed, and several otherswere  wounded early Sunday in a new wave of Israeli airstrikes and artillery shelling across the Gaza Strip, marking continued violations of the ceasefire. Attacks intensified after midnight, targeting multiple areas from northern to southern Gaza.

Medical sources reported that five victims were transferred to Nasser Medical Complex after an Israeli strike near the Turkish slaughterhouse west of Khan Yunis. Two additional bodies remained trapped in a high-risk zone, preventing civil defense crews from retrieving them. In northern Gaza, four more Palestinians were killed when Israeli shelling struck tents sheltering displaced families near the Telecommunications Junction west of Jabalia refugee camp.

Other casualties were transferred to Al-Shifa Hospital and Al-Saraya Medical Center in Gaza City following earlier bombardments. Simultaneously, Israeli forces carried out large-scale demolitions of residential buildings near Sheikh Zayed Roundabout north of Jabalia, accompanied by heavy artillery fire and sustained gunfire from armored vehicles positioned east of the Strip.

The Israeli military also announced it had killed a Palestinian in northern Gaza, claiming he crossed a designated “yellow line” and approached its forces. Further demolitions and airstrikes continued in eastern Jabalia and Khan Yunis, while artillery fire targeted the vicinity of Al-Sanfur intersection in the Tuffah neighborhood east of Gaza City, sending shrapnel into nearby homes.

In the north, Israeli forces detonated three booby-trapped vehicles near Sheikh Zayed as part of ongoing operations, intensifying destruction in already devastated residential zones. Warplanes remained overhead as gunfire echoed across targeted districts.

Gaza’s Health Ministry warned that most hospitals face imminent shutdown due to a critical shortage of spare parts, noting that no replacement supplies have entered the Strip since the ceasefire. The total death toll since October 7, 2023, has risen to 72,051, with 171,706 injured, while thousands remain buried under rubble or stranded in areas inaccessible to emergency crews.
