Gaza Herald – Israeli forces carried out airstrikes and demolition operations across the Gaza Strip on Tuesday, marking the 122nd consecutive day of violations of the ceasefire agreement, according to local and medical sources.
Earlier in the day, two Palestinians were injured by Israeli gunfire in Gaza City’s Zeitoun neighborhood, while artillery shelling targeted eastern areas of the city. Additional blasts were reported following demolition operations east of Gaza City.
In southern Gaza, Israeli forces detonated buildings east of Khan Younis and opened fire in central areas of the city. Israeli naval boats also fired heavily into the sea off the southern coast of the enclave.
On Monday, six Palestinians were killed, including four who died when an Israeli strike hit a residential apartment near Swedi al-Nasr area in western Gaza City, underscoring the ongoing threat to civilians.
Since the ceasefire came into effect, Israeli violations have killed at least 612 Palestinians, including 194 children and 83 women, and wounded more than 1,500 others. Since October 7, 2023, the death toll has surpassed 72,000, with widespread destruction affecting roughly 90 percent of Gaza’s civilian infrastructure, according to UN estimates.
