Israel Kills 576 Palestinians Despite Gaza ‘Ceasefire’

Gaza Herald – Israel has killed at least 576 Palestinians since the so-called ceasefire went into effect on October 10, 2025, according to the Gaza Ministry of Health. An additional 1,543 people have been wounded during the same period.

The ceasefire, brokered nearly two years after the October 2023 attacks that triggered Israel’s war on Gaza, has existed largely in name. Israeli forces have continued airstrikes, artillery fire, ground incursions, and live fire across the enclave, with Palestinians reportedly killed for approaching military positions or entering areas unilaterally designated as restricted.

Health officials and human rights groups said that the ongoing killings underscore the fragility of the truce and reinforce claims that Israel is systematically violating the agreement, as civilian casualties continue to mount despite international guarantees meant to halt the violence.
