Israeli Fire Kills Two, Wounds Several Others on Day 107 of Gaza Ceasefire

Gaza Herald – Israeli forces continued violating the ceasefire across Gaza on Monday, killing two Palestinians and wounding others amid live fire, artillery shelling, airstrikes, and home demolitions in multiple areas of the enclave.

Medical sources said Majdi Nofal was shot dead near Block 12 east of Al-Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza. Earlier, Mohammed Khaled Abdel-Moneim was killed by a gunshot to the head in the Zarka area of Al-Tuffah neighborhood, northeast Gaza City.

In southern Gaza, a young girl was wounded by Israeli fire near the Austrian neighborhood west of Khan Younis, underscoring the continued targeting of civilians despite the ceasefire.

Israeli artillery shelled eastern Gaza City and Al-Tuffah, while tanks and helicopters opened fire east and south of Khan Younis. Warplanes also carried out three airstrikes east of Deir al-Balah, and homes were demolished east of Gaza City.

Since the ceasefire took effect, Israeli violations have killed at least 501 Palestinians and injured 1,321 others, raising concerns that ongoing attacks are hollowing out the agreement and leaving civilians unprotected.
