Gaza Herald – Israeli forces resumed airstrikes, artillery shelling, and live fire across eastern Gaza on Monday, marking the 93rd consecutive day of ceasefire violations.
Local sources reported that Israeli vehicles targeted areas east of Khan Younis and Maghazi, while artillery struck Al-Mawasi in Rafah and eastern Al-Bureij camp. The attacks caused widespread panic and further destruction in already vulnerable areas.
Yesterday, four Palestinians were killed, including two in eastern Khan Younis, one in eastern Gaza City, and one who succumbed to previous injuries sustained in Al-Maghazi.
The Government Media Office confirmed that deaths from extreme cold in displacement camps reached 21, including 18 children, as ongoing Israeli operations compounded the humanitarian crisis. Four additional fatalities occurred this winter due to lack of heating, safe shelters, and sufficient blankets or winter clothing.
Since the ceasefire took effect on 10 October 2025, 450 Palestinians have been killed, including 159 children and 61 women, with 1,236 injured and 688 bodies recovered from rubble, according to daily reports from the Gaza Ministry of Health.
