Gaza Herald – At least three Palestinians were killed and seven others wounded in Israeli attacks across Gaza, marking the latest violations of the fragile October ceasefire between Israel and Gaza.
Overnight raids targeted Rafah and Khan Younis in southern Gaza, the Zeitoun neighborhood in southeast Gaza City, and multiple other areas across the besieged enclave, as Israeli military operations continued unabated.
Medical sources reported that a Palestinian man was killed by an Israeli quadcopter while being transported to a hospital in Khan Younis, and two men were shot dead by Israeli forces east of Zeitoun. Artillery and gunfire from military vehicles struck eastern Tuffah and Zeitoun later in the day.
Israeli jets bombed areas in eastern Bureij refugee camp, Jabalia, and Beit Lahia, while warships targeted northern coastal zones. The attacks caused widespread destruction, flattening buildings in Rafah, eastern Khan Younis, and Jabalia refugee camp.
Observers noted that these strikes were part of a broader Israeli effort to expand military control in Gaza, potentially leveraging territorial gains for future negotiations in the second phase of the ceasefire agreement.
